Dali Within

sudoric sheets kicked to foot
a practice drawing drapes
melting from the mattress pooling
on the Catalonia tiles
two ruddy fans unfolded
noonday-slatted faces fingers
church-twined bodies legs
stalking miles from the eye
neck laced by sweet beads reflecting
animalistic processions
trotting single-file the bony
valley of belling breasts
peeled back chimes pulse a
pendulum stroke Gala
of auburn aureoles the
tempo dissolving intoa
muse suspends disbelief in
aves evolutional distance
our gold-pointed feathers
pigment impregnated
we are all birthed from eggs
